On September 30th 2014, Chinese Ambassador in Ireland, Mr. Jianguo Xu, hosted a National Day Ceremony in Hilton Hotel, celebrating the 65th birthday of People’s Republic of China and the 35 years diplomatic relations between China and Ireland.
James Reilly, the Minister for Health; Jimmy Deenihan, the Minister of Arts, Heritage and the Garltacht; Taoiseach; Jianguo Xu, the Chinese Ambassador, Parry Chen, the Director of EASY2GO Logistics and other representatives of Irish Chinese Community showed up in the ceremony.
In his speech, Ambassador Xu gave a brief introduction of the development China had achieved since its foundation and its current social situation. He reiterated China’s determination to carry on the Reform and Opening-up Policy, the road of Peaceful Development together with the belief of Cooperation and Mutual Benefits. It was said that China would continue its active participation in international affairs in a responsible way and would seek more contribution to the peace and development of the world. Ambassador Xu was also delighted to announce that the communication and cooperation between China and Ireland had gone deeper in every respect since 2012 when Reciprocal Strategic Partnership was built between the two countries.
Ambassador Xu greeted Chinese business association. When talking with Parry, he sang high praise for the economical contribution made by Chinese businessmen in Ireland. He honored logistics as an integral part of bilateral trade and was optimistic towards the economy recovery of Ireland. Ambassador Xu expected further contribution from Parry and EASY2GO.
Parry felt privileged to be able to take a part. EASY2GO would continue its high quality service and be a bridge between the two countries to better communicate the goods and benefit the people.
